Monte Alverne Convent

About 10 kilometers from Pindamonhangaba (State of São Paulo), lonely on a hill, is Monte Alverne Convent where our Brothers Antônio and Anselmo live. The monastic character of the building is no coincidence, as it was built in the 1950s as the headquarter our Congregation in Brazil. Both Brothers are already of retirement age and run the small farm that belongs to the site, because there used to be an agricultural school for young people. The other Brothers regularly visit the Monte Alverne Convent, because the place with its silence and seclusion is an ideal environment for retreats and days of recreation.

Brother Antônio is proud of his beekeeping, and the honey produced is also sold in the region.

There is also the cemetery with the graves of our Brazilian Brothers who were already called to God.
